Our God is the God of salvation; and to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death. (Psalm 68:20)  

It was an early Sunday morning, the10^th of July 2005; the clock had ticked half pass one. After a party, my brother and I were leaving Hotel Savera to return home. I am residing at Anna Nager, Chennai. Even now, I can still remember that we were approaching Halls Road, Kilpauk; but after that I do not know what happened! When I reopened my eyes after 10 long days, I was on a hospital bed! 

What I now share about my tragic accident is from what my parents and friends told me.  

My brother and I were both badly hit by a tanker lorry! My loving brother had died on the spot and I was lying on the road bleeding, severely wounded in my skull and legs. By God’s grace, a Police Patrol came there immediately, at the right time and took me to Kilpauk Medical Hospital. I was administered First-Aid, just in time. If the Police had come late or First-Aid had been administered late, I would have died.  However, God sent help just on time!  Initially, I was in the Government Hospital (GH) and then was moved to Apollo Hospital. By around 5 a.m., the Doctor came to the Hospital and operated on me till 7:00 a.m., even though it was a Sunday. 

Before the Doctor entered the Operation Theatre (OT) – after having briefly examined my critical condition, considered it ‘hopeless’.  So, he frankly told the people who were waiting on me that they could stay outside, to receive my dead body. But my loving GOD mercifully touched me with His nail pierced hands and gave me life! 

However, after the operation, when I was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), I suddenly caught an infection.  The Doctors desperately administered several injections but in vain! Finally, before administering one last injection, the Doctor told my parents, ‘I have tried several injections, this is the last option that I have; the rest is left into God’s hands!’ Even in this critical situation, my precious God did yet another miracle and I was surprisingly healed of the infection! 

Before I regained consciousness, I needed 18 units of blood and got it miraculously. At every point, I could see that God sent people to help right on time!  I opened my eyes after 10 days, from the day of my accident; but started to speak only after a month. I was in the Hospital for 50 days, discharged and then convalescing for 5 months. I was on leave from 11^thJuly to 12^th December, 2005. 

The same Doctor who had initially told those who were waiting on me, to stay outside – only to take my dead body, was amazed and said that it was a very fast recovery that he had ever witnessed!  I am a second Daniel for him. I am still astonished, when I consider the miraculous and wonderful ways God rescued us right on time, at every step of physical ‘n mental agony and pain that I, my parents and my friends went through.  

Today, I am still in the same job with CTS that God had given me before the tragic accident.  

Dear friends, I may not know the very purpose for which God has kept me alive, but I will stand for His glory till my last breath.

Terrorist attacks, 7 Bomb Blast in Mumbai (India) Local Trains on 11^th July 2006 

11^th July 2006, this day will be indeed remember and go down in not only in the history of our city Mumbai (India) but also innumerable families that have suffered irrepairable damage it has caused.

There were 7 Bomb blast that took place on the 11^th July 2006 on the life line of Mumbai in the local trains, hundreds of people were injured and many lost their life.

In one such train that took off from Churchgate station and arrived at Andheri Station at around 5:53 pm was boarded by me. For my colleague and me things seemed normal and as usual over crowded. Just before the train arrived Mira Road Station, I got place to sit, seeing my senior colleague standing I offered him my seat to which he refused saying that he was all right.

As we were casually conversing with each other all of sudden a loud BLAST took place in the same first class compartment were I was seated in. Within a matter of a split second all the people standing and seated with me in the compartment were thrown all over the place with multiple injuries and lifeless bodies filled the place.

Due to the blast, the compartment was ripped open sending down train fixtures such as fans, tube lights/bulb fittings, switch boards, iron rods etc. An electric switch box fell and rested on me sending down a high voltage electric shock that shook me violently from head to toe that’s when I cried aloud JESUS, JESUS, JESUS that was a desperate cry for help and HE did, His presence filled the compartment (Psalms 91: 15 says: He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble;  I will deliver him, and honour him.) & (Act 2 : 21 says: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of JESUS shall be saved.) andthat electric box fell off by it self, Hallelujah !

When I opened my eyes and looked around I saw people fallen all around me, one person was right on my lap his face was disfigured and was bleeding, to my amazement I found out that I was the only person in that compartment who still remained seated and the rest were thrown all over. (Psalm 91: 7 says :  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. )  Some how I managed to pull out my hands and legs from under the people fallen over me and jumped out of the wreckage without a scratch on my body (Psalms 91: 11-12 says :  For He shall give His angles charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone).and (Psalms 34 : 20 tells us : He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.)

The people who managed to crawl out of the compartment tried to speak to each other but due to the loud sound our eardrums were badly damaged. I walked to a nearby station where some strangers helped me to find a hospital and started my treatment. The E.N.T Specialist who checked my ears initially said that both my eardrums are ruptured badly and I’ll required a surgery. We prayed that night and the next day the doctor said that though both my ear drums are ruptured its amazing that my hearing was good !  Hallelujah !!!!

Now a month later on 18^th August 2006 Doctor checked my ears and was amazed at the speedy recovery and gave a report stating eardrums healed, no surgery required. Praise be to JESUS. (Isaiah 53 : 5  says : JESUS was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed) That’s why I share this testimony so others can know that JESUS IS ALIVE and He is our Saviour and our Healer.

It’s my pleasure to share with you what God has recently done in my life. Yet again, I experienced the mighty and awesome hand of God over my life.

I am working in an IT company, for over a year now. It was on 5^th May, 2006 that I had submitted my H1B visa petition, along with my teammates. You would surely know the value of this -H1B visa. It is very difficult to get this visa; since it has so many privileges attached to it. The American government accepts only 65,000 H1B visa petitions every year! So, there is a huge competition. The success of any visa petition depends on the approval by the American foreign affairs department. So after I submitted my petition on 5^th May, 2006; my company submitted it to the respective department, in the USA.

After one month, I and my teammates received emails informing us, the status of our H1B visa petitions. The email stated that the cap of 65,000 H1B visa petitions was reached on 25^th May. This meant that if the American foreign affairs department had received our petitions before 25^th May, our H1B visa petitions would most likely be approved, but if they had received it after 25^th May, it would have been rejected!! They had also stated in that email that they received my petition on 25^th May! Wow!! I could see God’s perfect timing in this.  However, the email also stated that since my petition reached them on 25^th May, it would be in a ‘hang’ state and that visa approval would depend on the Citizenship andImmigration Services (CIS) lottery!  When I read this, I just left it to God. I knew for sure that if it God’s will, no one can stop it. I also know that our God is utmost faithful and that He cares for us more than we care for ourselves. So, I left it to Him and forgot about it.

 Suddenly, one day, I got an email stating that my petition was selected in the CIS lottery and that my H1B visa petition was approved. I praise God because He did it!!

 After a few days, I got intimation about my personal appearance date with the American Consulate, for the H1B visa stamping. It was scheduled on 20^th Dec, 2006. After few weeks, I again received an email stating that they had advanced my personal appearance date to 14^th Sep, 2006. It was a pleasant shock to me! Getting your ‘Personal Appearance Date’ advanced by 3 months is impossible!! They can advance it by a month or 45 days, but by 3 months – it’s impossible! God proved yet again, how great He is!! He does things more than what we can imagine. I am reminded of the verse which says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him” 1 Corinthians 2:9(NIV). God does things in extra ordinary ways! He makes a way where there is no way!! This is a promise for all of us.

 Finally, having got my personal appearance date to be on 14^th September, I went to the American Consulate for the interview. I saw the official asking few questions to the people who were interviewed before me. When my chance came, he asked me to provide the documents. I gave it to him. At the same moment, his mobile phone rang; he was checking my documents and also attending the call on his mobile phone – with the other hand. He didn’t ask me any questions. He was just going through the documents. So after perusing my documents, he asked me one simple question. That’s it! My H1B visa stamping was done!! God did it yet again!!! Praise God!!!! He again proved that He is more than able and when we trust Him, He lifts us up like anything!! I could see God’s hand directly in everything! It’s so much better trusting and loving Him – because He alone is worthy of our trust!

I would love to complete this testimony, quoting my most favorite verse, as found in Romans 8:28, which says “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (NKJV) Our God is good all the time!! All glory belongs to Him and Him alone!!! Trust Him completely and see the difference!!!

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in; from this time forth, and even forevermore.

(Psalm 121:8)

I hope you know about L1-B visa.  It can be used, if your company is transferring you from one of their offices outside theUS to one inside. Typically, multinational corporations will indulge in this; all you need to do to qualify is, to have a year’s continuous employment at the same company and be either a company executive/upper level manager (they get the L1-A) or have specialized knowledge (the L1-B). The initial stay is 7 years (L1-A) or 5 years (L1-B) and is renewable in 3 year slots.

I was truly excited when my L1-B personal appearance date was announced.  The crucial day finally arrived for me to be present at the American Consulate. I was waiting my turn in the queue.  However, I came to know that, US visa stamping was being rejected that day for many applicants in my queue, during their personal interview.  The US visa interviewing official who was interviewing us was a seemingly elderly lady.  She was asking many questions to the applicants.  I was jittered on how I was going to answer all her questions!  However, I noticed that there was another counter next to hers; but that was closed.  Suddenly, that closed counter was opened and some of us were asked to form a queue before that counter.  Guess what! I was also asked to move to be serviced from that newly formed queue. When my turn came, I was not questioned except for my educational background and my visa got stamped! It was that easy!!  That which appeared gigantic like a mountain vanished like the dew!!!

When I look back and consider the whole incident; I recognize that it was purely God’s grace! Well, this is how I got a chance to travel abroad.

To add to this, I was praying for my close friend’s father, who was about to undergo Angioplastic Surgery, for the second time. I prayed that if God could heal and stop that second operation, I will give the money saved for God’s ministry. God did a miracle! The Doctors reported that the second operation was not necessary for that Uncle and that he could continue with medicine itself. The big question was how I could have raised such a huge amount of money, to give to the LORD’s ministry? Owing to my onsite opportunity, the Lord Jesus Christ made a way! I could donate that saved amount – by not going for the 2^nd operation – to the LORD’s ministry.  I didn’t feel it a great burden.  Praise be to the Lord!

I’m working in an IT company in Chennai.  I attend a weekly prayer fellowship that is being conducted by some of my colleagues during the break time, outside our Company campus.

Recently, I had raised a prayer request during our regular prayer fellowship. I had purchased a land to build my house. I had to provide advance money to the Builder.  Initially, the Builder said that I could approach any bank to raise the money. So, I went to a nationalized bank to get a Home Loan. I also gave Rs.2500/- to initiate the Home Loan process. The bank had also promptly started the process to provide me the loan.  But when I had to collect the ‘approved house plan’ and certain other forms from the Builder; the Builder said that they won’t accept it; if a nationalized bank is the financier!

I was in a fix!  I cannot undo the ‘home loan’ process already set in motion by the nationalized bank. So also, I was not in a position to go for yet another loan with some other bank, as chosen by my house builder! So, before I went to meet the Builder; I raised a prayer request in our weekly prayer fellowship, that the Builder should accept the Home Loan already raised in a nationalized bank. My brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ prayed for me.  After 5 days, I went to meet the Builder. He again repeated the same old story; saying that they will not accept it if a nationalized bank is the financier!  I thought the reason behind this was that Government banks would have to be provided more documents compared to a Private bank.  However, when conversing with him, I came to know that his main concern was about money being delayed from the nationalized bank!  Anyway, a good rapport was established with the Builder and finally he accepted to have the same nationalized bank to be the financier!

I Praise and Thank God for He answered our prayer.
