Question:  Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” John 20:15

Answer: 1  Samuel 30: 6, the last portion. But David strengthened himself. In the Lord his God. He was going through a very tough time. In verse four, it portrays, the situation that they went through.

It was a very difficult situation. His family was lost. His kids his possession was lost. People along with him wanted to stone David. And it says David and his people. Lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep.

They wept so much that they did not even have the strength anymore left to weep. That was the situation. But a couple of verses down, we see. David strengthened himself in the Lord. There are times in life, when it is very tough.

The only way. We can be strengthened. Is to receive comfort from the Lord. John 20 we see a similar situation when Mary Magdelene was standing at the grave of Jesus, at the tomb of Jesus. She. Was so broken. She was weeping.

And Jesus asked a question. Women, why are you weeping? The only way. We can get comforted, by hearing the voice of Jesus. Many times, when we are broken we try somehow to get strength, and all that will work for some time.

Unless we hear the voice of the Lord. So, during the time of pain and suffering. Let us pray and ask the Lord. Lord, strengthen me, Lord. I need your strength. The voice of Jesus is the only thing that can bring strength to us.

Let’s hear that voice where Jesus said, “Woman, why are you weeping?
