Daily Thought – We can with our Lord

Comments

Verse:

Apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Thought

How to be fruitful? Jesus taught how to remain focussed and be fruitful. Let us meditate the teaching of Jesus, John 15:1-5

Planter: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” John 15:1 Always be confident we have a gardener, who is in full control and looks after all that is in the garden.

Prunes: He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2 Lord; wants us to be more fruitful, in that process he prunes our branches. We face challenges so we will become stronger.

Promise: You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. John 15:3. We have the promises of the Lord. That’s all we need. His word has cleaned us and will keep us.

Presence: Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4. We need to be presence of the Lord. Lord wants us to be with him always. We are safe only in His presence.

Prosper: I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5. We prosper when we have the Lord with us. Let us do all things with the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, I thank that you are my gardener. I will dwell in you. I will hear and obey the word of God. In all things I will trust and follow you. Amen.
