Daily Thought – Plans to prosper

Comments

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Story: People of Israel went into exile as a punishment to their sins, but Lord gave them a promise before they went into the exile through Jeremiah. This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you”

Background: Lord our God, can bring us back from even the worst situation. There is no situation which is too hard for the Lord to deliver. Even when we face the toughest challenge Lord has already planned the greatest blessing through that state. All the plans to prosper did not happen because of our goodness, it was just because of His name sake and His unfailing love. Then why fear and condemn. Let us confess and seek His face.

Prayer: Father Lord, I know you will deliver me and bring a great blessing in midst of my challenge. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
