Daily Thought – Battle ahead

Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s  2 Chro 20:15

Lord promised Jehoshaphat for not to be discouraged about the situation he was facing. When the battle that he was about to face was so tough; the Lord confirms that the battle belongs to the Lord. Lord gave this promise when Jehoshaphat prayed.
Cry Out: For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. 2 Chro 20:12. Jehoshaphat confessed his weakness to the Lord and cried and told, the only hope is the Lord.
Stand Firm: Lord’s answer to the confession. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you… 2 Chro 20:17a Since we have the promise of God, let us stand firm, stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord.
Go Forward: Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you. 2 Chro 20:17b Let us not run away from our situations but let us not go through the tough times in fear, but in the strength and confidences of the Lord and with absolutely no fear let us go forward.
Prayer: My dear Father, you know all my weakness and my tough situations. I trust in you; help me Lord to go forward in your strength. My hope is in you, I have no power but my eyes are on you. Amen.
