Comments

Verse: The word of God “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.Mark 10:52

As Jesus and his disciples came to Jericho together with a large crowd and were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus was sitting by the roadside begging. Jesus healed the blind man. How did the healing happen?

Step 1: Cry Out: When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, Mark 10:47 Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Bartimaeus continued to call upon Jesus although people stopped him. We know Jesus is the healer, let us with all our strength, let us cry out to the Lord for healing. The blind man did not see what it was Jesus’ response, also he did not see any positive response from people and there was silence from Jesus, still, he did not stop crying.

Step 2: Request Made:What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Mark 10:51

The man plainly told Jesus what he wanted, let us also openly tell our pain and hurts to the Lord. He did not use any fancy words, just straightforward, Oh that I am able to cry out, always so honestly.

Step 3: Healing:Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.Mark 10:52

Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Listen to what Jesus said your faith has healed, the faith of coming to Jesus, have we come to Jesus; our Lord honors our cry for help and He answers our request.

Final thought: Let us pray: Father Lord, I want to see, give sight that I will see everything from a Heavenly perspective. Heal me, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen.
