Report On Shareathon 2006
The date was 16th December, 2006 and I was all set to attend the special Chennai Corporate Fellowship (CCF) program “Shareathon”. I was there at the venue (ICSA Centre, Egmore) by 8:30 am. and the rest of the CCF core team joined soon and we organized ourselves to personally welcome Christ’s chosen warriors in the corporate world.
By 9:30 am the people were all in place. I was pleasantly surprised to find friends from Mysore and Bangalore – Aubrey, Anand Patti, Jobin Thomas attending a CCF meeting. Bro.Prince the MC was ready and started the program on time. We started with a prayer by Bro.Godson and a welcome address by Bro.Rajiv. The next 15 minutes or so we were engrossed in powerful worship lead by Aubrey, Anand & Jobin. Bro.Samuel Johnson then took us through the Vision & Mission of CCF and that’s it “Shareathon” began in full swing.
Most corporate fellowships were sharing incidents so powerful, life changing and thought provoking that they took more than the 5 minutes that we had allotted to them. But then it was necessary as many including me got fresh insight into how to grow our fellowships after listening to some creative ideas from other fellowships. I can say that though we overshot on time – It was certainly time well spent.
After a few fellowships shared their experiences it was my turn to deliver God’s message. I had planned a radically different message where as part of an illustration I opened by holding three different type of balls in my hand instead of the standard black Bible. By God’s grace the illustration and the message I was communicating came out well and was well received by all.
The Core team got creative and extended the program beyond lunch. The Lunch was good homely biriyani which was enjoyed by all. In between the sharing by different corporates there were action oriented songs by Aubrey & Bro.Moses to rock with praises to God.
We had the prayer session led by Bro. Anand Jeyapaul and the members also praying for prayer requests.
By the time we were through with all the fellowships sharing & fellowship tea; we were all completely satisfied with the experience. Bro. Jabin concluded with vote of thanks and the closing prayer.
A glimpse of the satisfying experience can be seen from the responses in the feedback forms we collected; a few of them are listed below:

On the Whole - The Lord Jesus Christ was truly glorified and God encouraged all of us at “Shareathon”.
